Following the great success of the Good Society project, which has brought together an unprecedented number of academics, politicians and activists to discuss the future of European social democracy, the organisers (Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Social Europe Journal, Compass and Soundings Journal) have decided to continue this vital discourse.

Building on the results of the first online Good Society debate (see Social Europe journal website), we will discuss four priorities of social democracy in more detail: democracy, organising, sustainability and equality.

In June, we already held a conference on democracy in Istanbul. Conferences on the three other topics will follow soon. We will announce them on our website.

For a summary on the first online debate, please click here for the English version and the German version.
